Fish East Asia - Sept 2013

The Fish East Asia online presence actually started with a Facebook page first. Due to the subject matter being of such interest, and with my client putting out regular posts with new photographs of big fish caught their facebook page was already at 2000 likes. My client wanted therefore to take their web presence to the next level with a large content managed website to portray all the exciting venues that Thailand has to offer. The site needed to be attractive, modern, easy to navigate, and packed with great content.

We've achieved all of the original requirements for this site, and regularly run promotions and update the content to keep people coming back.

The website uses a WordPress framework, with a responsive customised theme which adapts its page content depending on whether the website visitor is using a PC, a tablet computer, or a mobile device. The site also uses the the photo sharing service Flickr to serve up some (but not all) of the galleries. Also linked in is the popular online newsletter service called MailChimp where site visitors can sign-up to join the Fish East Asia mailing list. I've then created a MailChimp template which matches the site style / branding which the Fish East Asia team use to send out monthly bulletins telling people about the latest catches made and up to date offers that they have on.
