As a new business Park Automotive called me to replace their initial start up website with a professional, easy to administrate, and responsive site. I have worked with and am still working with Park Automotive to heavily increase their prescence on the internet. The starting point was the website which launched at the beginning of this month. Since going live it has received much positive feedback, and I have now set it up so that new car adverts can also be posted to their recently enhanced Facebook page. We will be moving on to other social media integration such as Twitter, as well as online promotions to get people visiting the site and consequently themselves.

Park Automotive are based in a rural location and therefore do need their internet prescence to attract customers in.

I originally developed the Stanway Villa Football Club (SVFC) WordPress website in 2012 which SVFC have administered ever since with the occasional bit of support now and then. So the site had become due to a refresh.

The new site was put live in June 2015, has a fresh and modern look and feel. It is also responsive to all devices and is even easier to administrate as it uses a relatively new technology called 'visual composer' which allows the user to quickly create new layouts and add content. Visual Composer is ideal for those who have used WordPress for the past few years and understand how it all works. These type of users will have a greater appreciation of what Visual Composer does for them.

Stanway Villa Football Club Testimonial

"We at Stanway Villa FC, like the fresh new feel David has been able to create for our website.

It is always great to work with David, his ideas and solutions really meet our needs for a great football club site.

We now have lots of new features and automatic updating which will save a lot of weekly admin time and the Wordpress Visual Composer is a simple but powerful tool.

Thanks for all your help and ongoing support."

All the Best

The Church Antiques website uses a content management system called LemonStand. There are two versions of LemonStand: https://lemonstand.com/.

  1. Version 1 is now no longer supported by LemonStand themselves and is classed as a 'legacy' system. It is self hosted, so if you have access information you can get to all files on your own hosting.
  2. Version 2 is a totally new version and is hosted 'in the cloud' so all development is done through an admin panel. Version 2 uses totally rewritten code and the new look sites are responsive.

Because Church Antiques were using their LemonStand version 1 to display adverts without the eCommerce side of in play (i.e. there were no payments involved and potential customers need to make contact with them to enquire about the product) it was agreed that I would work with the existing legacy system to create and introduce a new theme which was also responsive based on Church Antiques designs. I worked closely with Church Antiques throughout the project to achieve the design, look and feel that they wanted. The result was also responsive and I was able to add in extra more up to date functionality.

Church Antiques Testimonial

"We are very pleased with how David got to grips with our version 1 LemonStand CMS system. He worked with us to develop a much more up to date looking site, and also managed to code into this older system functionality which did not exist before.

David’s patient responsiveness and fast turnaround with our questions and requests is always professional and efficient. We would highly recommend the service which David provides for your web projects.
